This project aimed to understand the effect of organized habitat destruction on the rate of immediate biodiversity loss. I created a modeling tool in R that took transect biodiversity data and ran habitat destruction simulations under a variety of plot selection schemes. Shown to the left are the outcomes of the model when applied to plant species data from Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve.
